My Heros Breast Cancer Walkers

Today, I was riding my bike and as I started the final climb of the day, I came upon the Avon 3 day Breast Cancer Walk. On the opposite of the street, was a long and continuous line of groups of mostly women and some men on the third day of their walk. It was an amazing and inspiring sight. I started cheering encouragement because it is an awesome accomplishment. It takes commitment, courage and strength to walk for three days. It is one of the greatest acts of love and kindness I have witnessed. I felt so inspired and blessed to see so many people together fighting breast cancer. I didn't even realize I was climbing because I was so inspired by the sight. Before I knew it, I was at the top! Usually I am cursing the hill and wishing I had taken an alternate route! I say thank you to all the women and men, survivors, caretakers, loved ones for doing this work. Livestrong.
