An Advocate's Dilemma

Another call today from a desperate family wanting help because a hospital isn't providing adequate care or an insurance company has denied coverage for a life saving procedure or medication.  As the saying goes, "the names change but the story remains the same".  I am wondering if I should call the  Laura Inghrams, Jay Severins, Rush Limbaughs and Sarah Palins of the world and ask them for guidance with these problems since it is their contention the healthcare system doesn't need fixing.  I would also tell them, these people are from all walks of life and financial brackets.   Would I get the needed help and support I am looking for?  Or maybe I could call them when a family of four needs insurance coverage because the parents have lost jobs, there is no cobra because the company went bankrupt, and the quoted monthly cost is $3,000 or more?

I'd like that call so my job can be easier.  I spend many hours on the phone with the insurance companies.  I love the challenge of helping a person receive the healthcare they have earned and deserve.  So enlighten me talk show host, what would you suggest?  And correct me if I am wrong, but it is your rhetoric that wants to sustain the current system that delegates "end of life" decisions by non medical bureaucrats.
